Lamp performance over lifetime depends on lamp quality. Moreover operating life data specification can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Even if the three figures are equally defined, comparison is difficult. Measurement and calculation methods can differ. Thus key characteristic data, e.g. efficiency, are not comparable unless the same methods are used.
