We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily financial operations, including accounting transactions, financial reporting, budget tracking, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work accurately under tight deadlines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.
Your Mission
Electrical Design Development:
• Process and record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense reimbursements, and bank reconciliations, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules. Collaborate with the finance manager to analyze variances and explain financial results.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by collecting and consolidating departmental budget data, tracking budget execution, and providing regular updates on budget vs. actual performance.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations, tax laws, and industry best practices to ensure the company’s financial operations remain compliant.
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
Your Profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) are highly preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting, preferably in [specify industry, e.g., manufacturing, technology, retail].
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations. Familiarity with GAAP or IFRS is mandatory.
• Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, macros).
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
